The conflicts that have been ongoing in Gaza since October 2023 continue to leave hundreds of thousands of civilians in a difficult situation. While the humanitarian crisis in the region deepens day by day, the effects of the war become even more striking with numbers: In Gaza, where 2.3 million people live, more than 80% of the population is in need of humanitarian aid. 1.9 million people have been forced to leave their homes, facing serious difficulties in accessing shelter and basic needs. More than 500,000 people are facing hunger, and access to food resources is becoming increasingly difficult. More than 10,000 children are struggling with health problems due to malnutrition. While 70% of hospitals are out of service, the lack of medical supplies increases vital risks. Under these difficult conditions, our humanitarian aid efforts continue uninterrupted. Since the first days of the war, food parcels, hot meals, blankets, and tents have been distributed. Hundreds of people receive hot meals every day, and with shelter support, efforts are being made to meet the most basic needs of families. While our humanitarian aid teams continue to deliver aid in the region despite great risks, calls for the international community to provide more support continue. In this process, where solidarity and cooperation are of vital importance to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, we will continue to be a source of hope and support.
